My aim in doing a portrait is to create a painting for you that is both a portrait of excellence and a beautiful, quality object of representational Fine Art. A painting that will be treasured for generations as a valuable heirloom and touchstone to memories, and either family or professional history.

I use what I have found to be the best of both Classical and Contemporary methods in creating the Artwork with a strong eye kept to archival stability. We will work together to develop all the important specifics of the portrait before contract signing.

The medium I use for Portraits is oil on panel or canvas. Base prices start at $2,900 for a 14in.X11in. vignette, and $4,500 for a 20in.x16in. head and shoulders.

There are also 1/2 figure without hands, 3/4 figure with hands, and full figure sizes and prices. Contact me for details. Extra figures are 70% additional. Pets, complex detailed backgrounds or objects, travel and Lodging expense if any, and shipping will require an additional charge to the base fee. Through our discussions an exact price can be determined and a contract detailing specifics of the commission is then provided. I require the standard 50% non refundable deposit on contract signing, with the remainder due upon your acceptance of the portrait. Prices are for unframed Artwork. I can help with framing if that is needed.

Contact me for full details through email or regular mail to start, just click the contact link to the left.. I will provide you with my phone number and any information you ask for at that time. We will then be able to communicate back and forth until you are satisfied you have enough information to make your decision on whether to proceed with a portrait.
